Learn the dragon boat tips and tricks from our experienced coaches and paddlers at our Give it a Go session in October. No experience necessary. 

Whether you try it out, or meet other paddlers and join a team, this is the perfect place to do it. We have a number of teams looking for new people at the start of our season, so the best time to give it a go is October. Come and join us, meet the teams, hear their pitch, and learn the basics of paddling in just one morning. 

WHERE

Z Pier, Westhaven Marina. Meet by the shower block at 9.30am, sharp to register.

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING

• It all depends on the weather, shorts, quick dry tee and jandals on warm/hot days. Long sleeve thermals, leggings, water shoes, beanie in colder days - Just don't wear jeans or heavey clothing
• Towel and change of clothes for after as you're likely to get splashed.
• Water bottle (Please leave your metal bottles at home as they will damage the boats if they role around)

Free parking available 300m down Westhaven Driver at Pier X in the white lines.  Paid parking available at Pier Z
