The MAGs (Mt Albert Grammar School) teachers stormed the Grand Final, clinching victory with an impressive 59.70 seconds earning them the top spot and the Race to the Tower Trophy.
Each final showcased incredible effort, from determined first-timers sprinkled with seasoned paddlers. Teams like BNZ, Vector, and the University of Auckland left it all on the water, while Suntory Oceania paddled their way to the Wooden Spoon with smiles all around, and won the hearts of many with their pink tutus and fantastic attitude.
With four finals, photo-worthy moments, and great vibes, the day celebrated the spirit of dragon boating - teamwork, fun, and a bit of friendly rivalry.
Mark your calendars for February as we gear up to do it all again. Whether you're chasing a win or just paddling for fun, the next Race to the Tower promises to be bigger and better!
